Dream - Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati has been rumored to be resigning from President Jokowi's Indonesia Maju Cabinet in recent days. This rumor first emerged from a statement by senior economist Faisal Basri, who claimed that several other ministers were planning to resign from the cabinet. Faisal said that the list of ministers who will resign consists of technocrats, not party members. In addition to Sri Mulyani, another member of the cabinet is Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono.

In the midst of the hot issue, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani is currently busy with her duties as the state treasurer. She is attending the 2024 Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.
WEF is an annual routine meeting attended by more than 100 governments from around the world, including international organizations and forum partner companies.
The Minister of Finance also conveyed a number of Indonesian government policies in the session on The Economics of Gender Parity. According to Merdeka.com, the Indonesian government has currently implemented policies that support gender equality. Such as budget tagging, skills and health budgeting, LPDP education scholarship allocation, the Family Hope Program, and access to financing for ultra micro businesses.
