Menhub Budi also visited the family of the late Putu Satria Ananta Rustika in Klungkung, Bali, a victim of violence at STIP Jakarta. He expressed deep condolences as well as regret and apology to the family of the late Putu for the incident of violence at STIP Jakarta which resulted in the death of the STIP cadet.

Regarding the current case, it has been legally handled by the North Jakarta Police Resort. Meanwhile, the Minister of Transportation has instructed the Head of the Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) to expedite the internal investigation into the elements of the STIP Jakarta campus that have disregarded or not implemented the established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), resulting in this case occurring. "Furthermore, institutional sanctions will be imposed in accordance with applicable regulations," the Minister of Transportation added.
