DKI Jakarta ranks first in the list of cities with the highest cost of living in Indonesia, with a consumption value (NK) of Rp14.8 million per month. Meanwhile, the regional minimum wage or UMR in Jakarta for 2024 is only Rp5,067,381.
Bekasi ranks second as the most expensive city in Indonesia. BPS records show that the cost of living in Bekasi reaches Rp14.3 million per month.
