Dream - The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) together with the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) held an interactive dialogue in Bandung, West Java, on Friday, March 1, 2024.
The interactive dialogue is themed "Productive Workers, Happy Workers with Worker Welfare Facilities."
Director General of Industrial Relations and Social Security Development (PHI-JSK) of the Ministry of Manpower, Indah Anggoro Putri, in her speech represented by the Director of Labor Relations and Wages, Dinar Titus Jogaswitani, stated that the interactive dialogue was held to strengthen the mutual commitment between the Ministry of Manpower and the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) regarding how the provision of welfare facilities in companies should ideally be carried out.
"I hope this forum can be a means for us to exchange ideas (knowledge sharing) regarding efforts to improve worker welfare facilities,"

One type of worker welfare facility that needs to be encouraged is the Family Planning (KB) service facility at the company.
"Besides family planning services, types of welfare facilities that need to be collectively addressed are affordable decent housing for workers," said Indah.
Beautiful appreciates the partnership that has been established between the Ministry of Manpower and the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) in implementing family and population development programs that synergize with the employment program.
"The partnership certainly serves as a strong foundation for realizing concrete actions in improving the health and well-being of workers and their families," he concluded.
