Dream - A CEO in New Jersey named Grant Haber had a stroke of bad luck after cutting down 32 trees owned by his neighbor in order to get a better view from his luxury home.

Initially, he was billed an amount of £10,000 or approximately Rp170 million, but now he has to pay a fine of £800,000 or approximately Rp13 billion.

According to Mirror, Haber requires permission before cutting down trees and is accused of hiring someone to cut down dozens of trees belonging to his neighbor, Samih Shinway.

Haber initially made a defense agreement for violating local laws in the city of Kinnelon and faced a bill of £25,000 but later reduced to around £10,000.

According to Shinway, since Haber cut down those trees, there have been many crows and soil erosion.

Haber told the court that he would pay a fine of £10,000 within the next 30 days and is now facing a restitution hearing at the county level.

Haber finally sold his house in November last year for 1.2 million pounds sterling, which is 500,000 pounds sterling more expensive than the price he paid in 2014.
