Dream - Taking care of baby's skin with specific care products is very important to do. This is because baby's skin is thinner and more susceptible to irritation or infection compared to adult skin.
Recently, Dior, the French fashion house, released skincare products for babies. This range of products is called Baby Dior.
Baby Dior is a remake of the first baby perfume line introduced by Dior in 1970. Now, other versions of products are made, such as gentle perfume, moisturizer, and cleansing soap. The first collection, called "scented water" and named Bonne Étoile, is sold for Rp3,586,390.00. This product is packaged in pastel pink or mint green bottles. It has the scent of pear, wild rose, and white musk.
There is also a face and body moisturizer for babies with a pear-scented aroma called Le Lait Très Tendre, which is sold for Rp1,792,114.00. Meanwhile, the La Mousse Très Fondante product, a cleansing foam that can be used for the face, body, and hair, is priced at Rp1,480,489.50.
The last product in this series is L'eau Très Fraîche, priced at Rp1,480,489.50. Claimed to be a cleansing water product that consists of 98% natural ingredients and contains mallow flower extract.
In an interview conducted by Women's Wear Daily (WWD), Francis Kurkdjian, Creative Director of Dior Perfumes, stated that he has long been a fan of this brand's baby product line. "When I joined Dior in October 2022, one of the projects on my mind was to revisit Baby Dior," he said. "Christian Dior repeatedly reminisced about his childhood as a very happy and enjoyable time in his life. The scent and range of baby care products have been discontinued, and I really want to revive them as a tribute," he added.
Kurkdjian then met with the artistic director of Baby Dior, Cordelia de Castellane. Both of them found the same vision in revitalizing this collection.
