This small incision is made in the intact cornea in just about 8 seconds. Then, the second stage is removing the lenticule. After being sliced, the lenticule will be removed through a small incision without disturbing the structure of the cornea. The final stage is correcting the refractive errors. With the removal of the lenticule, the path of light entering the eye will be altered, resulting in clear and sharp vision.

After the ReLEx SMILE PRO laser surgery is completed, the patient will be examined by an ophthalmologist. If there are no problems, they are allowed to go home and resume their activities as usual.
