Furthermore, allegations that Aoka bread uses sodium dehydroacetate, known as a cosmetic preservative, are mentioned based on the laboratory test results of PT SGS Indonesia. However, PT SGS Indonesia, through a written statement to PT IBF on July 15, 2024, denies such claims and states that the information did not come from them.

Kemas explains that Aoka bread products have passed the testing conducted by the Indonesian Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM). Additionally, all variants of Aoka bread have obtained circulation permits stated on the product packaging.
