Dream - The final round of Dream Inspiring Woman (DIW) 2023 was officially held today, Sunday, April 9, 2023 at the Jakarta Convention Center, Central Jakarta.
This DIW 2023 moment feels more special because it is the first offline event to select an inspirational and creative hijab figure after being on hiatus in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Previously, the registration period for DIW 2023 along with the #DIWTheReunion event was opened on December 18, 2022 until February 28, 2023 with more than 100 registrants.
During the selection process, the registrants participated in a series of challenges from the committee until they were selected to receive special prizes, namely a free umrah pilgrimage.
In the grand final event, 50 participants will be filtered down to the top 25 before becoming the top 3 Dream Inspiring Woman (DIW) 2023.
Where they creatively and inspiringly answer questions about beauty, social media, and gender.
Later, the ideas from the 50 participants will be judged by three jury members, namely Syahid Latif (Editor-in-Chief of Dream.co.id), Lia Firdaus (VP Commercial of Umroh.com), Wahidah Oktavia (Senior Public Relations of Wardah Beauty) who were randomly selected through a fishbowl.
In addition to presenting ideas and concepts, DIW 2023 participants also look beautiful in Muslim clothing with simple yet luxurious pastel colors from Zaskia Mecca fashion house.
