Prosecutor: Putri Changes Clothes Sexy to Support Harassment Scenario

Dream - The Public Prosecutor (JPU) said that Putri Candrawathi deliberately changed into more sexy clothing to support the harassment scenario.

The prosecutor stated this when reading the indictment against Ricky Rizal at the South Jakarta District Court on Monday, January 16, 2023.

The prosecutor said that Putri had changed clothes at the Duren Tiga official residence in South Jakarta on July 8, 2022.

"To carry out the scenario, witness Putri appeared to be harassed or raped by the victim, resulting in a shootout between the victim and witness Richard, who previously arrived wearing a brown sweater and black leggings, then intentionally changed into a sexy appearance while inside the house," the prosecutor said.

According to the prosecutor, Putri deliberately changed clothes to support the scenario as if Brigadir J was killed in a shootout with Bharada E after being caught trying to rape Putri.

"By changing into more sexy clothes with a blouse shirt model in green with black stripes and green shorts with black stripes, it appeared that the victim intended to harass or rape witness Putri," the prosecutor said.

Previously, the defendant in the planned murder case against Brigadir J, Ricky Rizal, was sentenced to eight years in prison.

According to the prosecutor, Ricky Rizal violated Article 340 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code. The prosecutor considered that there was no reason for forgiveness and justification for Ricky's actions.

"Demanding that the panel of judges who tried the defendant Ricky Rizal Wibowo be found guilty of committing a criminal act. Imposing a sentence of 8 years in prison on the defendant," the prosecutor said at the South Jakarta District Court on Monday, January 16, 2023.

"The defendant must be held accountable and sentenced commensurate with his actions," the prosecutor added.

The aggravating factor for Ricky is that his actions caused the death of Brigadir J and grief for the victim's family, as well as being evasive in providing testimony. The mitigating factor is that Ricky has a young child and the guidance of a father.

The prosecutor believed that Ricky Rizal, together with Ferdy Sambo, Bharada E, Kuat Ma'ruf, and Putri Candrawathi, planned the premeditated murder of Brigadir J.

The prosecutor stated that Ricky supported and knew Ferdy Sambo's plan to take Brigadir J's life.

The prosecutor said that Ricky also knew that Ferdy Sambo planned to kill Brigadir J, but did not prevent it.

"The defendant intentionally did not refuse to call witness Richard Eliezer, the defendant intentionally did not inform Richard that he could meet Sambo and discuss Sambo's plan to shoot the victim. The defendant's role continued by following witness Putri's isolation in Duren Tiga, and even the defendant became the driver of the car with the victim Yosua, sitting and followed by the victim Yosua," the prosecutor explained.

According to the prosecutor, Ricky also did not inform Brigadir J that he had taken a weapon. Ricky also acted as a 'supervisor' for Brigadir J before the shooting incident.

"When Yosua was in the park, the defendant did not want to inform witness FS's plan, so the victim remained in the Duren Tiga house. When Sambo intentionally came, the defendant still did not inform the victim, instead the defendant intentionally waited for Sambo's call, which was then followed by calling Sambo," the prosecutor said.

The prosecutor also mentioned that the provision of an iPhone 13 Pro Max and hundreds of millions of rupiah in cash proved to the prosecutor that there was a shared intention.

"Thus, based on the above series of events, it is clear that the defendant played a role in intentionally causing the death of Yosua along with other perpetrators, witnesses Ferdy Sambo, Putri Candrawathi, Richard Eliezer, Kuat Ma'ruf, namely desiring the death of Yosua," the prosecutor said.

Prosecutor Believes There Was No Harassment in Magelang, Putri Candrawathi and Brigadir J Had an Affair

Dream - The Public Prosecutor (JPU) stated that the wife of Ferdy Sambo, Putri Candrawatahi, did not experience any harassment at the Magelang residence. The prosecutor said that what happened was an affair between Brigadir J and Putri Candrawathi.

The prosecutor stated this when reading the indictment against defendant Kuat Ma'ruf at the South Jakarta District Court on Monday, January 16, 2023.

The prosecutor stated that they disagreed with the testimony of expert witness Reni Kusuma Wardhani from the Indonesian Forensic Psychology Association, who stated that there was sexual harassment.

"We respond to the testimony of Dr. Reni Kusuma Wardhani regarding the existence of sexual violence, which contradicts the testimony of other experts who have taken an oath, that in Aji Febriyanto as a polygraph expert, it was stated that witness Putri indicated deception on the polygraph when asked 'Did you have an affair with Yosua in Magelang?' which was also stated in the BAP," the prosecutor said.

The prosecutor stated that based on the facts acknowledged by the defendant in the trial, there was no sexual harassment experienced by Putri Candrawathi on July 8, 2022, at Sambo's official residence in the Duren Tiga Police Complex, South Jakarta.

The prosecutor also mentioned that Bharada Richard Eliezer and Sambo's housemaid named Susi were unaware of any sexual harassment in Magelang.

Based on these testimonies, the prosecutor believes that there was no sexual harassment. The prosecutor also stated that there was no testimony mentioning that Putri took a shower, changed clothes, or underwent a medical examination after the alleged harassment incident.

"Regarding witness Putri Candrawathi's testimony that she did not shower or change clothes after the alleged sexual harassment incident, even though there was witness Susi, who is her female assistant. Witness Putri Candrawathi also did not undergo a medical examination after the alleged sexual harassment, even though she is a doctor who is very concerned about health and hygiene," the prosecutor explained.

"The fact that witness Putri took the initiative to talk to the victim for 10 to 15 minutes in a closed room after the alleged harassment, and there was no testimony of Ferdy Sambo requesting a medical examination, even though Ferdy Sambo has decades of experience as an investigator."

"And the actions of Ferdy Sambo, who allowed witness Putri Candrawathi and the victim to be in the same group and the same car for isolation in Duren Tiga, as well as the testimony of Kuat Ma'ruf regarding the 'thorns in the marriage', it can be concluded that there was no harassment on July 7, 2022, in Magelang but rather an affair between witness Putri Candrawathi and the victim Yosua Hutabarat," the prosecutor said.

According to the prosecutor, Kuat Ma'ruf knew about the affair between Brigadir J and Putri and was involved in the murder plan.

"Defendant Kuat Ma'ruf was involved in planning to take the life of Yosua Hutabarat," the prosecutor said.

The prosecutor also mentioned Kuat's testimony, where he asked Putri to report to Sambo to avoid any thorns in their marriage. According to the prosecutor, this shows that Kuat knew about the affair between Yosua and Putri.

"Defendant Kuat Ma'ruf himself, both in his testimony as a witness and as a defendant, stated to witness Putri Candrawathi to report the victim Nopriansyah Yosua Hutabarat to witness Ferdy Sambo to avoid any thorns in the marriage of witness Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawathi," the prosecutor said.
