Reviving the Spirit of Indonesian Boxing, Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Supports Sport Entertainment Activities

This time, Byon Combat Showbiz held a boxing match, with the main event featuring young boxer Paris Pernandes from Binjai, North Sumatra, against young boxer Kkajhe Jekson Karmela from Papua.

This rivalry is their second meeting, after Paris won the fight in 2022 at Holywings Sport Show, and in this match, Kkajhe turned the tables and won by TKO.

For the successful boxing event with excellent entertainment packaging, Minister Dito expresses his gratitude.

"I would like to express my gratitude to Byon Combat, today's boxing event was very successful, with an audience of 1.1 million through social media, thank you to all the viewers who supported Indonesian boxing," said the 32-year-old Minister.

"And I congratulate Kkajhe, the boxer from Papua, and the tough opponent Paris from Binjai," he added.

Furthermore, it is hoped that Byon Combat Showbiz II can be bigger, with more viewers, in a larger venue, and become a center for positive young people to gather.

"I highly appreciate our friend Cellos and the Byon Combat team, and in the future, it should be bigger, the venue should be larger, like at the GBK (Gelora Bung Karno) Stadium, like at the Indonesia Multifunction Stadium. This is another challenge to bring in a full audience," he requested.

Lastly, it was stated that the Ministry of Youth and Sports always supports positive activities for young people, especially to promote sports and achieve high achievements.

"The Ministry of Youth and Sports always supports and encourages, the important thing is to popularize boxing, so that the young people no longer fight and brawl on the streets, but instead channel their positive energy in the ring with sportsmanship," he concluded.
