Story of a Woman Helped by a Kind Man in Bali, Taken to Her Destination Even Though They Just Met for the First Time

Recently, a video went viral on social media, telling the heartwarming experience of a woman who was about to go to Bali.

In the video, she claimed to have been helped by a very kind man. However, she and the middle-aged man did not know each other before.

The man was so kind that he was willing to take her to a place that was very far from the location that the man was supposed to go to in Bali.

In a 44-second video, the woman recounted that this touching story began when she crossed from Ketapang Port in Banyuwangi to Gilimanuk Port in Bali.

Since it was quite a long walk to the port of Ketapang where the ship was departing, a man offered to give her a ride.

"It turned out that the man also wanted to deliver tickets to the same port," said the woman.

She initially thought that she would only hitch a ride with the kind man until they reached the port.

However, they unexpectedly met again on the ship. They then started talking and sharing stories.

It turned out that the man was a native Balinese from Tabanan. However, he also had a house in Jember, East Java.

The 69-year-old man told her that his wife had passed away, and he only had one daughter named Devi and two granddaughters.

Since the man was a native Balinese, the woman asked if the distance from Gilimanuk Port to Gilimanuk Terminal was close or far?

The woman was surprised to hear the man's answer. Instead, he offered to take her to Gilimanuk Terminal.

"He said, 'I'll let you know, just ride with me. I'll take you to the bus stop where the bus departs'," the woman imitated the man.

In short, the woman ended up riding with the man again towards her intended terminal. However, she was shocked to hear the man's confession during the journey.

It turned out that it was the first time the man rode a motorcycle alone from Jember to Tabanan.

"And he got scolded (worried) by his daughter. The man told his daughter that he rode a motorcycle while on the ship as far as I know," the woman recounted.

According to the woman, the man's daughter actually asked him to take the train from Jember to Ketapang Port.

When they arrived, the man offered to take the woman to Mengwi Terminal, which was her main destination.

"He said, 'Let me take you to Mengwi Terminal (which is my destination)'. Of course, I refused, but he said he was grateful to have someone to talk to, so he wasn't afraid," the woman said.

During the journey to Mengwi Terminal, the kind man invited the woman to eat at a restaurant. The woman once again refused because she felt uncomfortable.

But the man insisted on paying and even asked the woman to choose whatever menu she wanted.

Finally, the man took the woman to Mengwi Terminal, which was further away from Tabanan.

However, because she panicked when her friend who was already waiting called her, the woman didn't have time to ask for the man's name or phone number when she got off the motorcycle.

Now, the woman hopes for a miracle on social media to find the kind man who selflessly helped her, even though he had to disregard his own needs.
