The Struggle of a Boy Selling Keychains at Traffic Lights until Midnight, His Feet Wrapped in Plastic Makes the Heart Ache

Some children are forced to sacrifice their childhood to earn a living and survive from day to day. Like the young boy in this Instagram video by @sj.artsylens.

In the video, it captures the moment when a young boy has to struggle to make a living at such a young age. He sits on the sidewalk by the roadside holding his merchandise.

Quoted from India Times, the boy was seen near the main traffic lights in a city in Gujarat. Every day, he sells keychains to passing drivers on that road.

Before offering them to drivers, the child first arranges his merchandise while sitting on the sidewalk. When the vehicles stop, he approaches each driver one by one and offers the keychains he carries.

From the footage in the video, the young boy wearing a checkered shirt and shorts can be seen selling his merchandise until it starts to get dark.

It is even more heartbreaking to see that the boy's feet are injured. While his injured foot is wrapped in cloth and plastic, the other foot walks without any protection.

With innocent eyes, he offers the keychains to the person recording the video. His effort to not beg despite being young and injured is admirable and touching.
