Most people may not believe that they actually built their own house without hiring a builder. However, that is the reality.

They dared to build their own house in the Ponorogo area due to limited funds. Initially, when building the foundation, the couple was still assisted by relatives and neighbors.

However, there were tasks that they really did themselves, such as assembling steel as the building frame, which would later be cast with cement and gravel.

Due to limited funds, this couple also had to fill the foundation with soil given by their neighbor. Luckily, they have very kind and understanding neighbors.

Their challenges also arose when they found out that some of the materials they had collected for a long time had started to deteriorate. For example, the wood that had been stored was eaten by termites and the iron had rusted.

Nevertheless, they continued the construction of their house. Along the way, their savings dwindled and the wife had to work again. The only income during the construction of the house was from selling online.

While the wife was working, her husband continued to build the house alone. Even though it was only half done, the house that was built by the married couple themselves looked quite neat.

The struggle of the married couple building their own house then went viral on social media and received various responses from netizens in the comment section.
