"Dream - Nada Hafez, a fencer or athlete from Egypt, may seem like any other fencer competing in the Paris 2024 Olympics. Who would have thought that in Nada's womb there is a 7-month-old fetus. Pregnancy does not hinder her from conquering the Olympics."
His confession adds to the list of inspiring stories from athletes who struggle hard in the face of their personal challenges. In a post on social media, Hafez shared that extraordinary experience with his followers.

"Hafez, who is known as a tenacious athlete, expressed that although it seems there are only two players on the podium, there are actually three. "What appears in front of you as two players on the podium is actually three! Me, my opponent, and the little baby who is yet to be present in our world!" wrote Hafez with great pride."
"This statement shows how great her dedication to sports is, as well as her commitment as a mother in the future. She certainly trains very disciplined for this competition."
"During this Olympics, Hafez managed to defeat the American athlete, Elizabeth Tartakovsky, with a score of 15-13 in the first round of the women's individual saber championship. This achievement is certainly a significant milestone considering her condition of being pregnant. Unfortunately, Nada had to be eliminated in the next round. In the round of 16, Hafez faced defeat against the South Korean athlete, Jeon Hayoung, with a score of 15-7."
The translation of "Menghadapi Berbagai Tantangan" to English is "Facing Various Challenges".
In his Instagram account, Hafez shares how difficult the experience he had to go through was. "My baby and I faced various challenges, both physically and emotionally. The pregnancy rollercoaster itself was already quite heavy, let alone having to struggle to maintain a balance between life and exercise. All of that is very exhausting, yet very valuable," he expressed in the Instagram caption.
The translation of "Dukungan Keluarga" to English is "Family Support".
"Hafez also expressed her gratitude for the support she received from her family and her husband. "I feel lucky to have the full support of my husband @ibrahimihab11 and my family to get this far. This Olympics is different; it's my third Olympics but this time I'm bringing a little Olympian! \u2764\ufe0f," she continued in the caption. Source: ESPN\/ Photo: Instagram @nada_hafez."
