Be careful! This act does not receive forgiveness from Allah SWT in the month of Ramadan.
"Seeking forgiveness with a sincere heart is a must for a servant towards their Lord."
"Seeking forgiveness with a sincere heart is a must for a servant towards their Lord."
However, did you know, Dream friends, that there is something that will not be forgiven by Allah SWT in the month of Ramadan? Here is the explanation as summarized by Dream through various sources.
The month of Ramadan is also called the month of forgiveness or the month of pardon. This is because Allah SWT opens the door of forgiveness as wide as possible for every servant who seeks forgiveness.
The door of forgiveness has been opened by Allah SWT since the first night of Ramadan. Meanwhile, the doors of hell are closed. This is also a great opportunity for Muslims to seek as much reward as possible. The way to do this is by performing various righteous deeds or worship. Whether it is prayer, reading the Quran, remembrance of Allah, charity, and doing good deeds. Sins committed by humans will be forgiven by Allah SWT as long as they observe fasting in Ramadan with full faith and only seek rewards from Allah SWT alone.
"Although Ramadan is a month full of forgiveness, there are things that Allah SWT does not forgive in the month of Ramadan."
This is in accordance with the saying of the Prophet Muhammad: "Gabriel said to me: 'Indeed, a person is greatly at loss if they enter the month of Ramadan and their sins are not forgiven.' The Prophet said: 'I also said: Ameen (O Allah, accept it).' Through the above hadith, it can be known that there are sins that are not forgiven by Allah SWT in the month of Ramadan."
In a hadith, it is explained about the loss of a person who does not send blessings: "Jibril prayed: 'Indeed, someone who mentions your name in his presence but does not send blessings upon you is truly at a loss.' So I said: 'O Allah, accept it.' A person who refuses to send blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is indeed at a great loss. Moreover, sending blessings is not difficult.
He just needs to move his lips and recite the sholawat. Therefore, do not miss the opportunity to send blessings to the Prophet saw. When you hear someone utter the name of Prophet Muhammad saw, then send blessings.
Forgiveness is also not given to someone who does not take care of both parents. As explained in the following hadith: "Jibril prayed: 'Indeed, someone who finds both parents or one of them and does not enter paradise is truly at a loss.' So I said: 'O Allah, grant it.'"
Managing both parents is a field of rewards for a child. However, there are people who have the opportunity but do not do it. As a result, they will not be admitted to heaven.
In the month of Ramadan, there are several deeds that, when performed, can erase sins. What are those deeds?
Performing the five daily prayers that coincide with Friday and the month of Ramadan will be forgiven by Allah SWT. As the Prophet Muhammad said: "Among the five daily prayers, between one Friday and the next, between one Ramadan and the next, among these deeds, sins will be forgiven as long as a person avoids major sins." (Hadith Narrated by Muslim number 233)
Running Ramadan fasting can also melt sins. As the saying of the Prophet Muhammad: "Whoever fasts in the month of Ramadan out of faith and seeking rewards from Allah, then his past sins will be forgiven." (Hadith narrated by Bukhari number 38 and Muslim number 760)
Running tarawih prayers every night in the month of Ramadan not only brings rewards but also can erase sins. As the Prophet Muhammad said: "Whoever performs qiyam Ramadan (tarawih prayers) out of faith and seeking rewards, then his past sins will be forgiven." (Hadith narrated by Bukhari number 37 and Muslim number 759)
The coming of the night of Lailatul Qadar and filled with night prayers, this can be a remover of sins. As the Prophet said: "Whoever performs prayers on Lailatul Qadar out of faith and seeking rewards from Allah, then his previous sins will be forgiven." (Hadith narrated by Bukhari, number 1901)
Other practices that can erase sins in the month of Ramadan is by giving zakat fitrah. This is explained in a hadith: "The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) made zakat fitrah obligatory to purify those who fast from vain words and indecent words, and also to feed the poor. Whoever fulfills it before the prayer,
"then his zakat is accepted, and whoever fulfills it after prayer, it is only considered as a charity among various charities." (Hadith narrated by Abu Daud number 1609 and Ibn Majah number 1827. Al-Hafizh Abu Thahir stated that the chain of narration of this hadith is hasan)
