"Is it permissible to combine the intention of Akikah and Kurban? There are differences of opinion among scholars."
Akikah is done when a child is born, while kurban is done every 10th of Dzulhijjah.

Dream - Akikah and sacrifice are forms of worship in Islam, both of which involve the use of animals to be sacrificed and their meat distributed to the poor and close neighbors. Akikah is performed as a form of gratitude for the birth of a son or daughter by sacrificing a goat. The goat meat will then be cooked and given as charity. Meanwhile, sacrifice is a worship performed on the 10th of Dzulhijjah, known as the Feast of Sacrifice or Eid al-Adha.
Muslim society will submit a sacrifice in the form of livestock such as cows, sheep, buffaloes, and camels. So, is it permissible to combine the intention of aqiqah and sacrifice? This question mostly comes from people who do not yet understand the law of combining the intentions of both acts of worship.
"Aqiqah is carried out by parents as a form of gratitude for the birth of their son or daughter. Namely by sacrificing a goat."
"For boys, it is required to slaughter two goats. While for girls, it is required to slaughter one goat. The ruling for performing 'akikah' is highly recommended, which means it is disliked to leave it when one is capable. By capable, it means having sufficient wealth to perform 'akikah' which is in excess of one's basic personal needs and the responsibility of providing for dependents. On the other hand, 'kurban' is performed on the 10th of Dzulhijjah. In 'kurban', it is allowed to slaughter goats, sheep, cows, buffaloes, and camels."
The law of sacrificing oneself is a confirmed sunnah or a sunnah that is strengthened as affirmed by Imam Malik and Imam Shafi'i. Meanwhile, Imam Abu Hanifah is of the opinion that the law of sacrifice for capable residents who are not currently in a state of travel is obligatory.
Regarding whether it is permissible to combine the intention for akikah (aqiqah) and kurban (sacrifice), there are differing opinions among Shafi'i scholars.
Quoted from nu.or.id, according to Imam Ibnu Hajar Al-Haitami, if both intentions are combined, the person will only succeed in obtaining the reward for one of them. Meanwhile, according to Imam Romli, the person can obtain the rewards for both. According to al-Hafidz Ibnu Hajar al-Asqalani from the tabi'in in the book Fathul Bari, a person who has not been circumcised by their parents, and then performs a sacrifice, the sacrifice is sufficient for them and there is no need for circumcision.
So, in this matter there are two opinions, namely the opinion that allows combining the intention of aqiqah and sacrifice with only one animal according to Imam Romli. And according to Ibnu Hajar Al-Asqalani, if it is slaughtered at the right time of sacrifice, then only the intention of sacrifice is necessary. This is sufficient to fulfill the recommended practice of aqiqah for someone.
