Dream - Chinese archaeology team successfully discovered the ancient shipwreck that sank off the coast of Fujian Province, East China. The ship, which is over 700 years old, is filled with an incredibly large amount of valuable cargo. The discovery of the shipwreck is part of the archaeological preservation project initiated by the National Archaeological Center (NCA), the Fujian Provincial Institute of Archaeological Research, and the Zhangzhou Cultural and Tourism Bureau.

The researchers also used underwater photos to obtain three-dimensional panoramic images of the shipwreck site with low visibility. Initially, the research team thought the ship had seven cabins, but it turned out that there were ten cabins. This indicates that the ship was a large merchant vessel. This discovery is a milestone in the history of underwater archaeology in China. It also demonstrates the historical prosperity of the Maritime Silk Road during the Yuan Dynasty.
