Collection of Prayers for Possessed Individuals, Can be Practiced during Ruqyah.

Dream - Possession is a phenomenon that still often occurs in the present era. Possession is considered as a disturbance of supernatural beings entering someone's body. This is why possession is related to mystical things. In the Quran and hadith, it is also explained about the existence of supernatural beings. Where these beings are also part of Allah's creation.

When someone experiences possession, usually prayers taken from verses of the Quran will be recited. The person who recites them is usually someone with deep spiritual knowledge. The healing process for possession in Islam is called ruqyah. Ruqyah is an effort to protect against disturbances from jinn and demons.

Collection of Prayers for Possessed People, Can be Practiced during Ruqyah

The following is a collection of prayers for people possessed as summarized by Dream through various sources.

"Prayer for the Possessed Person"

1. Pray to Prophet Job (Ayub): "O Lord, indeed I have been touched by Satan with hardship and punishment." (QS. Sad: 41)

               

2. Surat Al-Mu'minun Ayat 97-98 translates to: 2. Surah Al-Mu'minun Verses 97-98

And say, "O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, and I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." (QS. Al-Mu'minun: 97-98)

               
               

3. Surat As-Saffat Ayat 7

وَحْفَظًا مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ مَارِدٍ Artinya: "And (We) have protected it from every rebellious devil," (QS. As-Saffat: 7)

               

4. Ayat Kursi

Meaning: "Allah, there is no deity except Him. The Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great." (Quran 2:255)

5. Al-Fatihah In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 1. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. 2. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 3. Master of the Day of Judgment. 4. You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help. 5. Guide us on the Straight Path, 6. the path of those who have received Your grace; not the path of those who have brought down wrath upon themselves, nor of those who have gone astray.

Besides being a mandatory reading in every prayer, Al-Fatihah is also powerful when recited when someone is experiencing possession. In fact, Al-Fatihah is also called Asy-Syifa or the healer. اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ Translation: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment. You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help. Translation: "Meaning: "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. The Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. The Master of the Day of Judgment. You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help. Guide us on the Straight Path, the path of those who have received Your blessings; not the path of those who have brought down wrath upon themselves, nor the path of those who have gone astray." (Quran, Al-Fatihah: 1-7)"

6. Surat Al-Falaq

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak, from the evil of His creation, and from the evil of darkness when it settles, and from the evil of women who blow on knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies."

               

7. Surat An-Nas

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind. The Sovereign of mankind. The God of mankind. From the evil of the retreating whisperer - who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind - from among the jinn and mankind." (Quran, Surah An-Nas: 1-6)

               
               

8. Prayer of the Angel Gabriel

"In the name of Allah, I perform ruqyah on you to cure you from all the diseases that bother you and from the evil of every envious person and the evil of the eye's sight; may Allah heal you."
