Dream - Al-Quran is a guide for every human being. In every letter and verse, it contains many lessons and Islamic laws that can guide Muslims towards the right path, the path of Allah SWT. One of them is in Surah An-Nur verse 30, which contains Islamic teachings and a message to Muslims, both men and women. In that verse, there is a command from Allah SWT to His Messenger and the believers to guard and restrain their gaze from what is forbidden by Allah SWT.

The following is the sound of the recitation of the word of Allah SWT, Surah An-Nur verse 30: قُلْ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَغُضُّوا مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِمْ وَيَحْفَظُوا فُرُوجَهُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَزْكَىٰ لَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ Artinya: "Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: And Allah is well acquainted with all that they do." (QS. An-Nur: 30)

Zina is a highly prohibited act in Islam. The body part that has the potential to first become a problem in zina is the eyes. Therefore, it is important to guard and control one's gaze. When the gaze is not well-guarded, it can destroy many things, disturb the mind, and even make one forget their original purpose.

"When one's gaze can be well-preserved, then one's private parts will also be preserved. Realizing that often an unguarded gaze has an impact on the heart and mind, which then leads to a desire to engage in forbidden acts. Especially if faith is already shaky, then actions forbidden by Allah SWT will occur."

"Islam has regulated everything for humans as best as possible. As it has also been explained in the Al-Quran. One of them is the command to guard one's gaze and other body parts from forbidden acts. Therefore, men are commanded to guard their gaze. Meanwhile, women are commanded to guard their modesty or cover themselves."

In this case, Muslims must pay close attention to the gaze of their eyes in everyday life. Especially towards the opposite sex who are not mahram. When the gaze is guarded, the mind becomes clear, the soul becomes pure, and even receives blessings both outwardly and inwardly.
