The 30-year-old man was immediately taken to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, Scotland for serious treatment.
"When examining the man, the doctor heard a faint hoarse voice from within his throat and found a hole in that part of the respiratory tract."
The condition is called spontaneous tracheal perforation, which is a rare injury that can be life-threatening. Fortunately, the man was still able to breathe, swallow, and speak even though his throat was torn.
"After being examined by the doctor, the man was sent home and given pain relief and fever medication to alleviate his pain. He was advised not to engage in heavy activities for two weeks during his recovery."
"After five weeks had passed, the man returned to the hospital to check the condition of his throat. Fortunately, the tear in his throat had healed, so he is in good condition now. Report: Yulia Putri"
