“Vice President is Vice President, you know. Don’t let the Vice President act like the President, that will become a problem later. This means the Vice President helps the President as a whole and works on what is indeed assigned by the President,” said Ma’ruf when asked for a response by the media crew in Semarang, quoted from a written statement, Thursday (28/12/2023).
"Ma'ruf wishes that after the 2024 Presidential Election, a Vice President will be elected who has better capabilities than himself in implementing future government programs, including in specific areas of responsibility assigned by the President."
