Not only that, even non-Muslims are enthusiastic about attending various iftar events and even rushing to restaurants for the occasion. One person who shows maximum effort is a non-Muslim woman who goes to great lengths to get a large amount of takjil, as seen in a video shared by a netizen on the Tiktok account @luvley.ran_.
In the video, it recorded a woman who claimed to be a non-Muslim joining the takjil queue. Interestingly, the woman was wearing a cream-colored hijab and a black long-sleeved top. "The requirement to hunt for takjil," it is written in the video.
Not without reason, it turns out that the purpose of non-Muslim women wearing hijab is to appear like Muslim women. As is known, Muslim women are indeed obliged to cover their aurah, including wearing a hijab.
Without feeling awkward, this woman appears relaxed queuing for street snacks and various fried foods with other takjil hunters.
While queuing near the vendor, the woman deliberately uncovered her headscarf to show the necklace with a cross pendant that she wore around her neck. She then showed it to the camera before putting her headscarf back on. Carrying a bag of fried snacks, the woman then paid for her purchases to the mother vendor.
The woman even smiled after showing the necklace to her friend who was recording the video. "So I can buy in bulk" wrote the caption of her upload.
