The spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) Anna Hasbie explained that the vehicle indeed belongs to Yaqut. The incident occurred on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in the morning when Yaqut was heading to the Kemenag office on Jalan MH Thamrin, Central Jakarta.
He explained that the car the Minister of Religious Affairs was in only followed the directions from the escort patrol (patwal). "So it is indeed true that it is the Minister of Religious Affairs' car," said Anna, as reported by merdeka.com, Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

"Because if our car waits, Transjakarta will actually get nervous, that's why the escort decided to back off so as not to use it," she added. Anna continued, besides the Transjakarta bus, there are three other vehicles that are allowed to pass in the Busway according to the rules, namely ambulances, fire trucks, and official vehicles with RI plates."
"However, not every day does the RI 24 bus use the busway lane. In practice, which route and lane are used depends on the escort coordinating with the officers on the road," explained Anna.
