Dream - A daring act of a man sneaking towards President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) during a press conference at Konawe Regional General Hospital, Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, went viral on social media. At around 10:13 AM WITA, Jokowi held a press conference for the waiting journalists at the hospital.
Just starting to make a statement, suddenly a man wearing a brown batik shirt sneaked in from behind while shouting, "My salary, sir, has been withheld by the government, it has been 6 years, sir," said the man approaching Jokowi.
"Paspampres is seen immediately securing the man. Jokowi appears briefly motionless and then continues to give a statement."
Head of BPSDM Kabupaten Konawe, Suparjo, mentioned that the man's name is Mahyuddin. He is a civil servant who was dismissed by the Central BKN on suspicion of forging employment documents. "He was previously a village secretary with civil servant status in Awuliti village, but in 2012 Mahyuddin was dismissed on suspicion of forging a diploma," said Suparjo, as quoted from Sultra News.
Suparjo ensures that Mahyuddin is no longer registered in BKN and is not entitled to receive civil servant salary. "There is no salary detention, because the person in question is not a civil servant," he said.

In RSUD Konawe, Jokowi reviewed facilities, health services, and medical personnel at the hospital.
