This is also explained in a hadith narrated by Bukhari, which shows that the Prophet Muhammad completed reciting the Quran once a year during the month of Ramadan with the angel Gabriel.
However, in the last year before his death, the Prophet Muhammad saw completed the recitation of the Quran twice. Now, here are the virtues of reading the Quran in the month of Ramadan and how to complete it, as summarized by Dream through various sources.
Reading the Quran in the month of Ramadan has a very special virtue for those who do it. What are the virtues?
Reading the Quran in the month of Ramadan can bring tranquility and be surrounded by angels. This is explained in the following hadith: "No group of people gather in one house among the houses of Allah (mosques), then they recite the book of Allah (Quran) and study it together, except that tranquility will descend upon them and Allah will envelop them with mercy, they will be surrounded by angels, and Allah will boast about them in front of the angels." (Narrated by Muslim)
Reading one letter in the Quran will be rewarded with 10 good deeds. As explained in a hadith: "Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, 'Whoever recites one letter from the Quran, he will receive one good deed for that recitation. One good deed is multiplied by ten similar to it, and I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is one letter, but rather Alif is one letter, Lam is one letter, and Mim is one letter.'" (Narrated by Tirmidhi)
People who read the Quran extensively during the month of Ramadan, reflecting on its meaning and content, and practicing its teachings, will receive intercession on the Day of Judgment. As explained in the following hadith: "I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) say: Read the Quran, for it will come on the Day of Judgment as something that can intercede, providing assistance to those who possess it." (Narrated by Muslim)
Who doesn't want to be placed in heaven in the future? Everyone certainly desires it. One way is by reading the Quran extensively during the month of Ramadan. This is explained in a hadith: "Indeed, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, whoever reads the Quran, displays it, and memorizes it, then Allah will admit him to paradise and grant him intercession for ten of his household members, while also protecting them from hellfire." (Narrated by Ibn Majah)
"For Dream friends who want to complete reading the Quran during the month of Ramadan, here are the ways:"
Friend, Dream can try to read one juz (chapter) per day. Considering that the Quran has 30 juz, if you read 1 juz per day, then during the 30 days of fasting, you can complete it. So, try to consistently read it, okay.
You can also apply the method of 1 juz 5 times of prayer. So, take a moment after obligatory prayer to read the Quran. For example, if 1 juz consists of 10 pages, you can divide it into 2 pages after each prayer. This method will make it easier for you.
"To be able to complete reading the Quran by the end of Ramadan, you must read 21 or 22 pages or 11 sheets every day. You can adjust your time within one day to achieve the target of 21 pages or 11 sheets per day."
If Dream's friend wants to feel lighter, you can apply reading 14 verses before and after prayer. For example, the first juz consisting of 286 verses in the form of Al-Fatihah and Al-Baqarah, you can divide it into five prayer times.
For Dream friends who have busy activities, but want to complete reading the Quran in the month of Ramadan, you can do so by reading the Quran for 5 minutes before and after prayer. If we look at the previous method, around 14 verses take no more than 5 minutes.
Friend Dream can read the Quran anytime and anywhere. As long as the place is sacred. For example, reading it while at the office during break time or while on public transportation. It may not be measured how many verses you read. However, if you often read it, then it is not impossible for you to be able to complete reading the Quran before 30 days.
Currently, the presence of HP can be used to carry out various activities, including reading the Quran. You can download the Al-Quran application and read it anytime and anywhere. So, you don't need to bring the Quran anymore. In fact, there are also applications that can remind you of the last reading in the Quran. This will make it easier for you to read it anytime and complete the Quran faster.
