Dream - After celebrating Eid al-Fitr with family and relatives, usually the remaining holiday days before going back to work and school, people take advantage of it for a vacation. Yes, visiting tourist attractions with family is indeed a special moment and creates its own beautiful memories with loved ones. However, Dream friends also need to pay attention to the etiquette while on vacation. This is important, besides being part of religious teachings, it can also prevent unwanted things from happening.

This is proven from the word of Allah SWT in Surah An-An'am verse 11: "Travel on the earth and observe." According to Imam Syaf'i, there are various benefits that we can obtain from traveling. In addition, Quraish Shihab also explained it in his book titled 'Collection of 101 Kultum about Islam': "Leave the country to achieve greatness and travel because there are five benefits there, namely eliminating anxiety, achieving life, knowledge, manners, and friendship with the glorious. If someone says: "

"In traveling, there are humiliations and trials or difficulties in taking the path and carrying the burden, then know that death is better than living in a country that is lowly among liars and hypocrites," With that being said, even though in our daily lives we are occupied with various activities. Such as working, going to school, or other activities. However, still make time for traveling. With that, you will find a replacement for what you left behind, as Quraish Shihab said."

The first etiquette when traveling is to say greetings. Whether it's upon arriving at a new place or at a hotel. Whether it's occupied or unoccupied. This is not obligatory, but it is recommended as explained in the following hadith: "If someone enters an uninhabited house, then say 'Assalamu 'alainaa wa 'alaa 'ibadillahish sholihiin' (peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah)" (Narrated by Bukhari in Adabul Mufrod 806/1055).

The second thing to do while traveling is to read the Ayat Kursi. Dream friends can read it in the corner of the hotel room, as long as it is not in the bathroom. Or it can also be read before going to bed. The Prophet Muhammad said, "When you go to bed at night, recite the Ayat Kursi, surely Allah will always protect you and the devil will not approach you until morning." (Narrated by Al-Bukhari)

The third etiquette when traveling is to shake the bed. Because we do not know what is on the bed and cannot be seen by our own eyes. So, it is better when coming to a hotel, do not immediately lie down on the bed. But shake it first. Either with a cloth or a pillow. Even the Prophet Muhammad himself has advised his people to clean the bed by shaking it while remembering Allah SWT.
