According to Vinsensius, there are five countries that have experienced a very significant increase in foreign tourist visits to Indonesia. "Foreign tourists who visited Indonesia in September 2023 came from 5 nationalities that were truly very significant," he said.

The countries are Malaysia, Australia, Singapore, China, and finally East Timor. "The first one is Malaysia with 152,210 foreign tourists or about 14.22%. The second one is Australia with 140,057 foreign tourists or 13.09%. Singapore with 114,713 foreign tourists or 10.72%. China with 88,758 foreign tourists or equivalent to 8.29%. Lastly, East Timor with 57,560 visits or about 5.38%," he said. In addition, cumulatively, from January to September there has been an increase of 143.41% or a total of 8,513,505 visits.
