Generally, this Middle Eastern specialty dish is made with basmati rice, which has a distinctive shape compared to regular rice. Although often confused, nasi kebuli and nasi biryani are actually different.
Making kebuli rice yourself turns out to be not difficult. But, there are many spices that need to be prepared. Come on, let's take a look at the recipe right away!
Ingredients: 500 grams of basmati rice, 750 grams of goat leg meat, 350 ml of meat broth, 500 ml of fresh milk, 150 ml of plain yogurt, 1 onion, chopped, 1 tomato, chopped, 1 cinnamon stick, 2 cloves, 150 grams of ghee, 3 tablespoons of white curry powder, 1 tablespoon of garam masala, 2 tablespoons of salt, 75 grams of raisins.
Ingredients: 15 cardamom pods 5 cloves 1 tsp cumin 3 cloves of garlic 3 cloves of shallots 1 tsp coriander 1 tsp pepper 1 tsp salt
How to Make: Prepare the ground spices first, peel the cardamom fruit and take out the seeds. Sauté the cardamom, cloves, and cumin, then grind them. Blend the garlic, shallots, coriander, pepper, and salt until smooth. Set aside. Soak the rice for 2 hours, then steam for 15 minutes. Heat the oil, sauté the ground spices until fragrant. Add the onions, sauté until wilted. Add the tomatoes, cinnamon, star anise, curry powder, and salt. Mix well. Add the meat, stir well and add water. Boil until the meat is tender, then remove the meat.
Set aside 350 ml of broth, add milk and yogurt. Then, put in the steamed rice, stir until well mixed. Cook until the water reduces and is fully absorbed. Add raisins, steam until the rice is cooked. Ready to be served.

How to Make: Wash the rice, then cook it until half cooked. Blend all the spices until smooth, then sauté until evenly distributed. Add cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, and lemongrass. Sauté all the ingredients until fragrant. Then, add the diced chicken, stir well until the spices are absorbed. Put the cooked rice into a pan. Pour in the chicken broth.
