Dream - Apple will relocate one of its teams located in San Diego, California, to the team's location in Austin, Texas. If employees refuse to relocate, they are welcome to resign on April 26, 2024. After resigning, they are free to apply for other positions within Apple.

Outside of this transfer, Apple previously temporarily stopped the sales of Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 in the United States (US). The sales halt began on Thursday, December 21, 2023, on the website and later on December 24 in around 270 physical stores. The reason for the halt is said to be because Apple devices infringe Masimo's (a medical technology company) patent rights.

According to Bloomberg, the patent that is at the core of this dispute is largely related to features, including how light is emitted into the skin to measure the amount of oxygen in a person's blood. An Apple spokesperson said that the company is working to submit a solution to the US Customs and Border Protection, which is responsible for approving changes so that a product can be re-marketed.
