Dream - Fake money with a denomination of Rp50,000 is circulating in Yogyakarta City. This discovery was revealed by a merchant who participated in the Mandala Krida Expon event at Mandala Krida Stadium, Yogyakarta.
"He admitted receiving counterfeit money payment of Rp50 thousand from a buyer. Uploaded by account X @merapi_uncover, the merchant named Vibi revealed that she was selling on Saturday, June 22, 2024."
The event, according to him, was very crowded, to the point that he didn't realize he had served customers who gave him counterfeit money worth Rp50 thousand.
The woman feels disappointed with the irresponsible person who deceived her. "Hello, sir, I just want to tell you if you don't mind. I sell at the Mandala Krida Expo event, and it was very crowded there last Sunday. When it was crowded, there was always someone heartless who gave us counterfeit money worth 50 thousand," said Vibi.
Because she didn't realize that it was counterfeit money, Vibi immediately gave the change after the scammer gave her the counterfeit money. She expressed her sadness because she also sells to meet her living needs.
"We will definitely give change, because from the beginning there was no one who shopped for 50 thousand rupiahs. We sell to earn a living, it feels a bit sad to be treated like this by people."

Although he has received counterfeit money, he ensures that he will not use the money. He has already destroyed the counterfeit money to prevent it from circulating to others.
"But don't worry, I won't give the money to someone else, I won't waste it. Be careful for the merchants, please be more careful so that similar things don't happen like what I experienced," he said. For Vibi, Rp50,000 is a significant amount. She regrets the actions of the fraudster, who can now get her products for free and even receive change. "50,000 is a significant amount in my opinion, he got my product for free + change haha, I'm a little sad," she expressed."
