Dream - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir also extended his birthday wishes to President Jokowi, who is now 63 years old, precisely on Friday, June 21, 2024. He met Jokowi after a visit to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Erick is seen uploading a photo with Jokowi. The Head of State appears to be wearing a white shirt, while Erick is wearing a blue batik shirt.
Erick prays that Jokowi is always given strength and health in leading Indonesia.
"Happy birthday Mr. President Jokowi. May you always be given strength and health in leading this nation. Thank you for all the dedication and love for Indonesia,""
Erick said in his Instagram post @erickthohir.
In the photo shared by Erick, the gift that caught the camera's attention is not visible. Instead, Erick reported the results of his three-day work visit to Dubai.
He admitted to meeting with the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) to learn how to build a Financial Center in the Capital of the Archipelago (IKN).
"In a 3-day visit, I met with the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC). Indonesia can learn from DIFC's experience as a financial hub, in order to build a Financial Center in the Capital City of the Archipelago."

Erick also explained further meetings with the founder of Emaar Properties, Mr. Mohamed Ali Rashed Alabbar, in Dubai, UAE. Both discussed the potential for cooperation in the development of Indonesia's economic and tourism areas. In addition to Erick, top officials and national figures also conveyed their congratulations to Jokowi, one of them being the former Governor of Jakarta, Anies Baswedan.
"Happy 63rd birthday to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. @Jokowi. May he always be blessed with health, happiness, guidance, and ease in carrying out his duties and responsibilities, and may he always be under the protection of Allah SWT. Aamiin yra," wrote Anies in his X account @aniesbaswedan. Other greetings were conveyed by Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan. In his Instagram post, Luhut wished a happy birthday and referred to Jokowi as an exemplary leader."
In addition, Prabowo also conveyed congratulations and prayers to President Jokowi. "May you always be under the protection of Allah SWT, always be granted health and strength in carrying out your service to the State and the Indonesian people. Happy Birthday, Mr. President @jokowi," wrote the caption on Instagram @prabowo.
