Dream - The pre-wedding of the wealthy couple, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, continues to be the center of attention. Although they have not officially become husband and wife, a grand celebration has already taken place.

According to IndiaTimes, the Ambani family has personally invited several politicians and Bollywood icons to their wedding, which will take place on July 12-14 at the Jio World Convention Center, Mumbai. So, what is the viral price of the invitation?
According to a report from KoiMoi.com, the cost of this wedding invitation ranges up to 7 lakh rupees. If converted to Indonesian Rupiah, this amount would be around Rp136 million. The appearance of this wedding invitation went viral in an unboxing video that was circulated on social media.
The invitation is packaged in a large orange box. There is a picture of Dewa Wisnu and Dewi Laksmi. And there is a picture of Shloka Wisnu written around it at the top of the box. The embroidery inside the box shows Vaikund, the home of Dewa Wisnu and Dewi Laksmi.
In the invitation, there is a golden book adorned with a statue. The first page shows a picture of Lord Ganesha, which can be detached and framed. The following pages depict the depiction of Radha and Krishna alongside the official invitation, also known as Nimantran Patra. There is also a small envelope containing a handwritten note from the Ambani family.
Besides the main invitation, there is also a small orange box containing a beautiful travel temple. This box also contains a scarf that costs between Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000, handmade by Kashmiri craftsmen.
The wedding industry in India itself has grown rapidly since the country emerged from the Covid-19 pandemic. Currently, the estimated value of the wedding business in Bollywood Land is around US$130 billion or approximately Rp2,112 trillion.
Quoting CNN's report, Jefferies estimated a month ago that the value of the wedding industry in India is now nearly twice that of the United States, but still smaller compared to China.
"As a value-conscious society, Indians like to spend money on weddings," said Jefferies. "And this is regardless of economic class," he continued. With costs around US$15,000 or approximately IDR 243 million, the average cost of a wedding in India exceeds more than three times the average annual household income."
Marriage in India has become very important as a symbol of power and status. "There have been significant changes in Indian marriages overall in the past decade," said Sima Taparia, a marriage consultant.
