Dream - President Jokowi officially sets the day of voting for the general election (Pemilu) in 2024 on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 as a national holiday.
"Presidential Decree Number 10 of 2024"
This is stated in the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia (Keppres) Number 10 of 2024 regarding the Election Day of the General Election of 2024 as a National Holiday, which was determined on February 6, 2024.
"Setting Wednesday, February 14, 2024, as a national holiday in order to hold the General Election of 2024."

The determination of national holidays in the context of the 2024 General Elections is carried out to provide the widest possible opportunity for Indonesian citizens to exercise their right to vote in the 2024 General Elections.
"The President's decision shall take effect on the determined date," as stated in the Presidential Decree.
The determination of February 14, 2024 as the day for the implementation of the voting and vote counting for the 2024 General Election at the polling stations (TPS) is based on General Election Commission (KPU) Regulation Number 3 of 2022 regarding the Stages and Schedule of the Implementation of the 2024 General Election.
