Dream - PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional employee, Arie Febriant, came under scrutiny after spitting at road users who reprimanded him for parking in the middle of the road in the Pesanggarahan area, South Jakarta.
"After the incident went viral, PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional also spoke out and apologized for the behavior of its employee."
"We regret the incident that has caused inconvenience to many parties,"
The text translates to: "The words of Corporate Secretary of PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional (KPI), Hermansyah Y Nasroen, quoted from Merdeka.com, Monday 8 April 2024."
"dream.co.id"
As a result of the arrogant attitude, Hermansyah conveyed that currently Arie Febriant has been temporarily relieved of his position to facilitate the internal sanction process in accordance with the committed violations.
"The person in question has currently been suspended from their position to expedite the process of imposing sanctions for behavior that disregards social etiquette and ethical behavior in society."
he said.
"The suspension given aims to facilitate the implementation of the inspection. So that the person concerned can be subject to appropriate sanctions in accordance with the provisions and regulations of the company," he added.
According to Hermansyah, Pertamina will not tolerate the actions committed by Arie Febriant. Representing the company, he extends an apology for the incident that occurred.
"Pertamina always upholds ethical behavior and does not tolerate actions that are against the law and ethics. Therefore, we apologize for any inconvenience caused."
he said.
Because, according to Hermansyah, in everyday life, Pertamina International Refinery workers are always required to maintain behavior in accordance with moral values, including maintaining politeness and ethics when behaving. "We express our appreciation for the attention and support given to us to realize workers' behavior that reflects more polite etiquette in behavior," he said.
