According to Ida, the main factor that attracts Indonesian migrant workers to work in Hong Kong and Macau is the offer of a fairly good income level. In addition, these countries also offer relatively stable working conditions for migrant workers from around the world.

"As an effort to expand the job market in Macau, the Ministry of Manpower through the Job Market Center (Pasker ID) collaborates with the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Hong Kong to hold Indonesia Business Matching, which brings together the Indonesian Migrant Worker Placement Companies (P3MI) with companies in Hong Kong and Macau as direct users or end-users of Indonesian migrant workers and agencies."
