Erick himself currently serves as the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, and he claims to be loyal to President Jokowi. "If I am loyal to Mr. Jokowi, I will work hard until it is finished," Erick emphasized.

The resignation letter from Ahok has been given to the Secretary of the Board of Commissioners to be sent to the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises and copied to President Jokowi.

Based on the resignation letter received, the resignation letter is dated February 2, 2024 and signed by Ahok. Ahok stated that he will focus on campaigning for Ganjar-Mahfud.
