Dream - Among all of Kate Middleton's extraordinary fashion moments, her appearance on her wedding day is the most memorable. Prince William and Kate Middleton celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on April 29, 2024, amidst Kate's recovery process from cancer.
In this special commemoration moment, Instagram @princeandprincessofwales uploaded a black and white wedding photo of both of them. Kate looks so elegant in the photo with a diamond-studded crown, which is a collection from Queen Elizabeth II.
Kate Middleton chose the Halo tiara from Cartier, which belongs to Queen Elizabeth, and has been a collection of the late since she was 18 years old. This tiara was first ordered in 1936 by Queen Elizabeth's father, King George VI, for his wife, shortly before ascending the throne.
This luxurious accessory has a detailed design. According to the explanation from the Royal Collection Trust, this tiara is adorned with 739 brilliant diamonds and 149 diamond batons.

"Kate Middleton combined her Cartier tiara with an Alexander McQueen costume gown designed by Sarah Burton. This dress is inspired by Victoria style, designed with an ivory lace corset paired with a high lace collar, long lace sleeves, and a satin carriage-style skirt that is nine feet long."
The royal family continues the tradition of women borrowing crowns and tiaras on their wedding day from Queen Elizabeth's complete collection after Kate Middleton's wedding. After Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding, Meghan Markle wore Queen Mary Bandeau tiara when she got married in 2017.

Granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice also wore tiaras from the queen's collection for their weddings. Princess Beatrice's tiara is the same as the one Queen Elizabeth wore for her wedding to the late Prince Philip in 1947.
