Dream - Concerned with issues of anxiety and depression, Maybelline New York's beauty products further emphasize their commitment through BRAVE TOGETHER by presenting the training 'Brave Talk: Let's Dare to Be Story Friends'. Collaborating with KALM, UNIKA Atma Jaya, and WELCOME (Psychology Faculty Organization of Atma Jaya), Maybelline Brave Together provides a five-step training to help friends when they experience mental health issues, including depression and anxiety, on Thursday, October 5, 2023, yesterday.

Based on a survey conducted by Maybelline Indonesia called Jakpat to more than 1000 GenZ (2021), it was found that confiding in friends is the first external assistance solution when someone experiences mental health issues. One of the first aids that can be done is to be a good confidant when needed. "After one year of operation in Indonesia, Maybelline, together with KALM, has provided assistance in more than 18 thousand counseling sessions," said Carla Mangindaan, Brand General Manager of Maybelline Indonesia in her statement.

"We see this good response indicating an increase in public awareness of the importance of taking care of mental health, especially in dealing with anxiety and depression," Carla explained.

Through the Brave Talk training, Maybelline hopes that everyone can be more empowered to become a first responder when their loved ones need someone to confide in. Brave Talk is a set of five easy tips (B-R-A-V-E) formulated by Maybelline in collaboration with KALM to help everyone become a good confidant.
