Dream - Tokyo, Japan's sportswear brand, Onitsuka Tiger, presented its Fall/Winter 2024 collection at Milan Fashion Week held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. This runway show also commemorates Onitsuka Tiger's 75th anniversary. The Fall/Winter 2024 collection from Onitsuka Tiger is presented under the theme 'Urban Winter'. The designs created by Japanese-made clothing express the essence of urban winter landscapes with a wet coating finish that reminds of sudden thunderstorms in Tokyo.
The displayed color palette in the Fall/Winter 2024 collection is a harmonious combination of iconic yellow with metropolitan shades of gray, black, cream, and hazelnut.
"Unique Silhouette"
This collection showcases unique techniques that create a fresh touch on its silhouette. Starting from the collection of coats, jackets, and peacoats, it emphasizes the contrast between broad shoulders and narrow waist with stitching details such as tube padding and ribbing.
"Collection for Men and Women"
"For men, wide-legged pants or ankle-cut chino pants with 5 pockets are available. Meanwhile, for women, there are slim-fit long pants and also oversize trousers."
There are also micro skirts with a flowing silhouette and also silk panel dresses adorned with sparkling and matte paillette embroidery that radiate elegance, which can be paired with wool stockings.
Also displayed is the first collection of V-neck necklaces from this brand, with thick high-heeled shoes that provide comfort and slip-resistant durability. The collection also features innovative hybrid shoes that combine rubber soles and trekking shoes, as well as a double bag made of synthetic leather with an urban shoulder strap.
As the first show in the 75th anniversary year, a total of 49 looks were showcased in the performance related to the establishment of Onitsuka Tiger in 1949.
Besides that, the collection's accent is woolen clothes with rib-knitted zippers inspired by the most iconic track top from the brand. This collection can be worn as a modern scarf or an extreme crop top, making the style more vibrant and not boring.
