Dream - Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) plans to launch 6 new cars in 2024. Among these products, Hyundai will introduce its latest electric vehicle (EV).

Two Products Launch at IIMS 2024
Meanwhile, Budi Nur Mukmim, Chief Marketing Officer of HMID revealed that two of Hyundai's new products will be launched at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) on February 15-25, 2024, at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.

Apart from launching new products, in 2024, PT Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (HMMI) will also increase the production capacity of electric cars to 70 thousand units per year.
"Operating Battery Factory in Indonesia"
Hyundai will also operate its battery system factory and battery cell in Indonesia in 2024. The battery system factory operated by Hyundai Energy Indonesia (HEI) will support the launch of Hyundai's second locally-produced BEV with domestically-produced batteries.
Able to Supply 150 Thousand Electric Cars
Budi conveyed that the battery cell factory operated by PT HLI Green Power is expected to produce up to 10 GWh of battery cells per year. This amount is sufficient to supply approximately 150 thousand electric vehicles with Hyundai's E-GMP platform.
The operation of three Hyundai factories in Indonesia is projected to simultaneously meet the domestic market demand and open opportunities to export the production results to Southeast Asian countries.
"Opening Up to 145 Dealerships Across Indonesia"
In line with the product line development plan, Hyundai also targets an increase in dealer openings with a target of 145 dealers in 2024.
