Brigadier J's Girlfriend Sent DM Mockery After Ferdy Sambo Escapes Death Penalty

Dream - Vera Simanjuntak, the girlfriend of the late Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J, admitted to receiving terror from an unknown account on Instagram.

This incident occurred after the Supreme Court (MA) granted Ferdy Sambo's cassation, reducing the death penalty of the former two-star general to life imprisonment.

In her Instagram Stories, Vera shared screenshots of direct messages (DMs) from the fake account.

The account named @my_shadow_only informed Vera Simanjuntak about the cancelled death penalty for Ferdy Sambo. The account considered the leniency of Ferdy Sambo's sentence as good news.

"Clear sky, reduced punishment for Mr. Sam and friends, thanks to Jesus," wrote the @my_shadow_only account.

Then Vera Simanjuntak questioned the purpose of the account owner sending that message.

"What does this mean?" replied Vera Simanjuntak while attaching a screenshot of the news about Ferdy Sambo escaping the death penalty.

Not only that, Vera Simanjuntak also questioned the intention of the account owner who keeps terrorizing her.

From the screenshots uploaded by Vera Simanjuntak, the account often sends messages with a mocking tone.

One of them was on April 25, 2023, when Vera Simanjuntak received a sarcastic reply regarding Brigadier J.

"Hilarious, the best son raping, killed by his own friend."

Then on July 8, 2023, a short message was sent again. "Camera, roll and action. Good, hopefully it will make the news," he wrote.

Vera Simanjuntak was angered by the message sent by the @my_shadow_only account. She immediately responded with a sarcastic sentence.

"You're so determined, fake account. I already know, where do you live, shadow?" wrote Vera on her Instagram account @veramarethas_

Cassation Granted, Ferdy Sambo Escapes Death Penalty

Dream - The Supreme Court (MA) granted the cassation request submitted by Ferdy Sambo in the planned murder case of Nofriansyah Yoshua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J. As a result, Ferdy Sambo is now only sentenced to life imprisonment.

MA spokesperson, Suharto, confirmed that they have received the cassation file from Ferdy Sambo. So far, the team has studied the completeness of the case file.

"The Supreme Court has received the cassation file of Ferdy Sambo and others and has examined its completeness," said Suharto to journalists on Friday, June 23, 2023.

According to Suharto, they are currently processing the registration of Ferdy Sambo's cassation case for a trial to be held. After that, MA will submit a circulating proposal for the case.
