Dream - Dream Inspiring Women (DIW) 2023 has finally selected the champions on Sunday, April 9, 2023. Three inspiring hijabers were declared as winners in the Dream Day Ramadan Fest 2023 event.
The first place is awarded to Ariqah Alifia from Jakarta. She is entitled to the grand prize, which is a free umrah ticket from Umroh.com
The second place is achieved by Ismi Nadhilah from Bekasi. And the third place is awarded to Khamidah Safitri from Lampung. They both receive cash prizes.
"We hope that the selected Dream Inspiring Women can become an inspiration for Muslim women and hijabers in spreading the spirit of mutual assistance, helping each other, so that we can all spread goodness together," said one of the judges and Editor-in-Chief of Dream.co.id, Syahid Latif, at the Jakarta Convention Center on Sunday, April 9, 2023.
The three participants have won the hearts of the judges with fierce competition, other contributing judges are Lia Firdaus (VP Commercial Umroh.com) and Wahidah Oktavia (Senior Public Relations Wardah Beauty).
The winner, Ariqah Alifia, expressed her gratitude for becoming the champion of Dream Inspiring Women 2023.
"I hope I can fulfill the trust well and inspire women around me," said Ariqah.
Although she received an umrah prize, the prize is not the main thing. Because Dream Inspiring Women 2023 is a good opportunity to gain experience and inspiration.
"The main point here is that I want to learn, I want to gain experience and connections. Because I know that the participants here are very amazing," said Ariqah.
Dream - The final round of Dream Inspiring Women (DIW) 2023 was officially held today, Sunday, April 9, 2023 at the Jakarta Convention Center, Central Jakarta.
This DIW 2023 moment feels more special because it is the first offline event to select an inspiring and creative hijaber figure after a hiatus in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Previously, the registration period for DIW 2023 along with the #DIWTheReunion event was opened from December 18, 2022 to February 28, 2023 with more than 100 registrants.
During the selection process, the participants went through a series of challenges from the committee and were chosen to receive special prizes, namely free umrah.
In the grand final, the 50 participants will be filtered down to the top 25 before becoming the top 3 Dream Inspiring Women (DIW) 2023.
Where they creatively and inspiringly answer questions about beauty, social media, and gender.
Later, the ideas from the 50 participants will be judged by three jury members, namely Syahid Latif (Editor-in-Chief of Dream.co.id), Lia Firdaus (VP Commercial Umroh.com), Wahidah Oktavia (Senior Public Relations Wardah Beauty) who are randomly selected through a fish bowl.
In addition to presenting ideas and concepts, the participants of DIW 2023 also appear beautifully dressed in pastel-colored Muslim clothing that is simple yet luxurious from Zaskia Mecca's fashion house.
