Regret of a Female Businesswoman Earning Rp33 Million per Month Buying a Toyota Vellfire, Burdened by Installments and Service Costs that Choke

Dream - For some people, a vehicle is just a means of transportation that facilitates moving from one place to another.

However, there are also many who buy vehicles not only for their function, but also for style and showing off their financial capabilities.

These last two reasons are what initially motivated Nurul Ain Farirah, a businesswoman from Malaysia.

However, Ain did not feel happy and proud while owning a luxurious Toyota Vellfire in her garage.

The hijab entrepreneur actually regretted using the Toyota Vellfire for two years.

Despite being a successful entrepreneur, Ain had a fantastic income of 10,000 ringgit (equivalent to Rp33.2 million) per month.

Ain's regret was that she had to pay installments every month and incur higher costs for maintenance.

Before deciding to buy, Ain felt that she was capable of owning a Toyota Vellfire, which has a starting price of Rp1.36 billion.

But after two years, Ain realized that the installments for the luxury car were very expensive. Not to mention the high maintenance costs.

Meanwhile, she herself could travel anywhere using an ordinary car, as long as she arrived safely at her destination.

"That's Ain's mistake, I thought with a salary of 10,000 ringgit it would be enough to use this 'elephant' (Vellfire).

"Turns out, I have to pay 3,000 ringgit (almost Rp10 million) per month," she said.

Initially, Ain felt capable because the Toyota Vellfire was her dream car. However, at one point, she felt it was unnecessary.

Ain advised netizens to carefully consider when buying a luxury vehicle. Afraid of not being able to pay the installments or monthly fees.

"It's enough to have a comfortable vehicle to reach your destination without getting into debt.

"Don't burden yourself with debt just to show off. Use an ordinary car, as long as it doesn't give you a headache," she concluded.
