Furthermore, several people who were still holding on were seen being carried away by the roof, flying upwards and then falling from a considerable height.

According to The Straits Times, a man who landed on the nearest roof was reported to have suffered several broken ribs and was treated at a hospital.

To Jimu News, the owner of the restaurant, known as Wang, said that the restaurant decided to refund the visitors 50,000 yuan (Rp104.3 million) because they were unable to enjoy their food due to the strong wind and rain.

On Sunday afternoon, it was reported that the meteorological station in Yiling District, where the restaurant is located, issued a warning about thunderstorms and strong winds.

The extreme weather caused the collapse of large trees, leading to a major flood that swept away building materials.

The incident then went viral on social media and was uploaded by several accounts, including Instagram @unikinfo_id. Not only that, this video also received various responses from netizens in the comment section.
