Dream - Every woman certainly wants to be able to get a good match when she gets married later. In fact, there are many women who have specific criteria for their future partners. Prof. Quraish Shihab explained in his book Wawasan Al-Quran (2000) that the Quran does not specify in detail who should be married, but it is left to each person's taste. For a woman, it is important to pay attention to the criteria and quality of her prospective husband. Because he will be the one who will become a life partner until death separates them.

"He is the one who will determine the direction and destination of the ship he steers. In this matter, he cannot make the decision alone. There is a wife who becomes his companion in discussing and deciding the best outcome. A righteous husband will also influence the righteousness of his future children. In fact, this can also have an impact on his grandchildren in the future. As explained in the word of Allah SWT through Surah Al-Kahf verse 82: "

"The house walls belong to two orphaned children in the city. Beneath it, there is a treasure for both of them. Their father was a righteous man, and so your Lord intended that when they reach maturity, they would take out their treasure as a mercy from your Lord." (QS. Al-Kahfi: 82)

As a husband, there are several rights that must be understood and implemented. First, the husband has the right to be obeyed by his wife. This does not mean that the husband can act arbitrarily, but it is intended for his wife to comply with orders and prohibitions based on the teachings of Islam. Good understanding and communication between husband and wife are very important so that this obedience can be implemented with mutual understanding. Second, the husband has the obligation to protect and provide material needs and protection for his wife and family.

Husband is responsible for providing for the livelihood, shelter, and other needs fairly according to his ability. This obligation must also be fulfilled with love and mercy, as an expression of love for the wife and family. However, it is important for the husband to remember that this right must be exercised wisely and not abuse the power he possesses. Husband and wife must understand each other and strive to maintain harmony in their marriage relationship.

Iman: A man must have strong faith in Allah and practice the teachings of Islam well. Takwa: A husband must have takwa, which is the awareness to always act justly, honestly, and responsibly in fulfilling his role as a husband. Keadilan: A husband must be fair in treating his wives and children, giving them their rights proportionally. Kasih Sayang: A husband must love and cherish his wife and family sincerely, providing the necessary attention and care.

Patience: Husband must have patience in facing various situations and problems in household life. Religious Knowledge: Husband must have knowledge about Islamic teachings in order to teach and guide his family. Honesty: Husband must be honest in everything, both in words and deeds. Courage: Husband must have the courage to protect, nurture, and defend his family. Humility: Husband must be humble and not arrogant towards his family, and be willing to help with household chores.

Halal Rezeki: Husbands must be responsible in seeking halal sustenance for their families. Compassion: Husbands must have qualities of gentleness and concern towards their wives and children. Understanding and Appreciation of Differences: Husbands must understand and respect differences in opinions and personalities of their wives and be willing to communicate effectively. In Islam, men who possess these qualities and criteria are considered suitable to be good husbands and can form a harmonious family.
