Dream - The experience of giving birth by a woman from England, Kayleigh Doyle, is truly unique. This 22-year-old mother gave birth to twins with a 22-day interval at two different hospitals.

The doctor was also confused by this unique incident. "Until today, I have not found another woman in England who can beat these 22 days," said Doyle.

Doyle was pregnant with twins in October 2020 and claimed to have no problems or complications until experiencing pain before giving birth on March 15, 2021. "I knew the risks of carrying twins. I even made an appointment with a personal doctor because I was afraid of complications. At 22.5 weeks, I felt an incredible pain in bed. I wasn't sure what was happening, so I went to the toilet on the ground floor, and that's where my water broke," she said.

After the incident, Doyle was immediately taken to Royal Oldham Hospital and received treatment for five days. Doyle then gave birth to her first baby, Arlo, normally on March 20, 2021 at 04:20 in the early morning.

"The baby was born 17 weeks early and weighed only 498 grams. Unfortunately, the first baby from Doyle's twin pregnancy died in the womb and was born lifeless. The doctor estimated that the cause of baby Arlo's death was blood clotting in the placenta. "He looked like a normal baby. The doctor then met with me and said that they did not expect the second baby to survive, and it might be born in a few hours," said Doyle, recalling that moment."

"After waiting for several hours, Arlo's sibling still hasn't been born. Doyle no longer experiences contractions and is allowed to go home to rest."

Go to Another Hospital

After that, Doyle, who was still worried, made an appointment with a different doctor at Saint Mary Hospital. Amazingly, 22 days later, the second baby was born through a cesarean section on April 11th at 4:12 in the morning.

Doyle named the baby Astro. The doctor at this hospital decided to deliver Astro through surgery to avoid the risk of placental insufficiency, which could potentially cause the baby to lack oxygen. Currently, Astro is 2 years old. At birth, he weighed only 907 grams and experienced various complications due to being born prematurely.

Like a hollow heart and retinopathy that causes blood vessels in the eyes to not function normally. After two weeks, Doyle returned home with Astro and held a funeral for Arlo.

Doyle admitted that raising and caring for a baby while grieving for another baby who has passed away is extremely difficult. "We have already bought two items for two babies. Two cribs, as well as a stroller with two seats. It is very difficult to see a mother of twins that I follow on TikTok sharing their achievements," said Doyle.
