"Dream - The case of the assault on Emy Aghnia's daughter, a celebrity from Malang, by her nanny has made many parents worried. Especially fathers and mothers who have to work and leave their children alone with a nanny at home."
From the information provided by Aghnia on her Instagram account @emyaghnia, it seems that the nanny abused her daughter when she and her husband had to go to Jakarta for work. The nanny admitted to being frustrated with her daughter's disobedience, which led to her physically assaulting her, resulting in severe injuries.
Aghnia also revealed that the caretaker of her child was taken from a quite well-known foundation. The price she has to pay is also not cheap, but that does not guarantee the safety of her child.
Getting the right, good, and professional caregiver for children is indeed not easy. Many turn out to be not as expected. If, during the search for a child caregiver, parents sort CVs and conduct interviews, there is one important thing to do, namely psychological tests. This is highly recommended by family psychologist, Anas Satriyo. "Psychological tests and personality tests are not only important and useful for those who want to apply for office jobs but also for those who will take care of our children because a child's mind is very "open" to any experience and interaction with anyone who takes care of them and interacts with them every day," said Anas on his Instagram @anassatriyo.
The function of this psychological test, according to Anas, is to determine whether a child caregiver has good psychological capacity or not in taking care of children.
"Even though the person who takes care of our children is a family member or close relative, it is advisable to also conduct a psychological test for their safety, in order to ensure a strong foundation for the child's psychological, emotional, and mental health," said Anas. In certain situations, experienced caregivers may not necessarily guarantee having good psychological conditions to take care of children."
"Nagita Recruits Sus Rini through Psychological Tests"
"Conducting a psychological test to recruit a nanny for this child was apparently done by Nagita Slavina when looking for a nanny for Rayyanza."
Through the Youtube Channel NOICE, Sus Rini tells that she went through a quite long process during the recruitment. Including psychological tests. "During the interview, they said, 'prepare 5 sheets of paper, pencil, scissors, and eraser.' I was confused, like do I have to be that smart to take care of children? I didn't even go to school, what should I do? But the foundation's mother said that Sus should just follow along," said Sus Rini.
"He also mentioned that after the test, he underwent a 3-hour interview, but not with Nagita. 'In the last 15 minutes, I was also confused why I wasn't asked about work experience, she was more focused on personality,' said Sus Rini."
After being accepted, Sus Rini also underwent an interview with Caca Tengker, Nagita's sibling who works as a psychologist. She was given instructions by Caca regarding her job and was introduced to Rayyanza.
The case of Aghnia's abuse by her caregiver may be a lesson and consideration for fathers and mothers in recruiting caregivers for their children. One way to find the right caregiver is through psychological tests, which can be a solution.
