Dream - A woman with the initials AP (34) has been named a suspect after spreading news of her husband's affair, who is an officer in the Indonesian Army. The woman, who works as a dentist, is charged under the Information and Electronic Transactions Law (ITE) Article 48 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 32 paragraph (1) of Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions, in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the Indonesian Penal Code (KUHP).

In the post circulating on social media, AP revealed that her husband, MHA, who was serving in the Military Regional Health (Kesdam) IX/Udayana at the time, was allegedly having an affair since 2023. In her post, AP mentioned that her husband's affair was with the child of a high-ranking police officer. The video of AP being arrested at the Transyogi Cibubur gas station in West Java on Thursday, April 4, 2024, also went viral on social media.

According to him, it is true that there was initially an arrest attempt on AP based on police report Number: LP/B/25/I/2024/SPKT/Polresta Denpasar/Polda Bali, on January 21, 2024. The suspect requested to go home first to his house in the Legenda Wisata housing complex, Gunung Putri, Bogor. Upon arriving at the house around 14.30 WIB, the police had a debate with AP's family. The parents did not want AP to be detained because they have a toddler and are still breastfeeding. The family then requested for the legal process to continue while waiting for legal representation.

"At the time the suspect's legal counsel arrived, they immediately coordinated with the investigative team and drafted a letter signed by the suspect AP, stating that the suspect AP requested a postponement of the arrest and that the suspect would be present on Saturday, April 6, 2024," he said. "Taking into consideration the letter and the fact that the suspect at that time did not want to leave their 1.5-year-old child, citing breastfeeding as the reason, and considering the protest from the suspect's family regarding the arrest operation," he added.
