Dream - The General Election Commission (KPU) revealed that the implementation of the presidential debate for the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) will be held five times. The presidential candidates (Capres) will participate in three debates, while the remaining debates will be attended by the vice presidential candidates (Cawapres).

KPU RI has received the registration of three prospective presidential and vice-presidential pairs for the 2024 Presidential Election, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD, and Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka. The Anies-Muhaimin pair is supported by the NasDem Party, the National Awakening Party (PKB), the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), and the Ummat Party.
The Ganjar-Mahfud pair is supported by the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (DPI Perjuangan), the United Development Party (PPP), the Indonesian Solidarity Party (Partai Perindo), and the People's Conscience Party (Hanura). Meanwhile, the Prabowo-Gibran pair is supported by the Gerindra Party, the Golkar Party, the National Mandate Party (PAN), the Democratic Party, the Crescent Star Party (PBB), the Gelora Party, the Garuda Party, the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), as well as the Just and Prosperous People's Party (Prima), which did not qualify as participants in the 2024 elections.
